Whipped Body Butter

I love whipped body butter!  It is so creamy and leaves your skin so soft! For best results, add immediately following a bath or shower.  This is a DIY recipe I enjoy –

  • 1/2 C cocoa butter or shea butter
  • 1/4 C coconut oil
  • 1/4 C sweet almond oil
  • 5 drops Young Living Ylang Ylang essential oil
  • 8 drops Young Living Lavender essential oil
  • 16 drops Young Living Orange essential oil

Using a double boiler, heat shea butter and coconut oil until combined.  Remove from heat.  Once lukewarm, add almond oil and eo.  Transfer to a stainless steal mixing bowl and place in freezer for 15-20 minutes.  When almost solid, whip on medium until thick and creamy.  Store in fridge until hardened.
